Most greyhounds retire from racing aged between 3 and 4 years (some are younger still). Susan and Kevin Kirkman provide foster care for greyhounds who need a little more loving care than most - whether due to old age, illness, disability or the loss of their owners - so most of their dogs tend to be a little older.
